Free for All Friday - September 12th

As we have gone into another month, this month is special for me for a few reasons:

My birthday is Sept 2nd…this year I turned 37. (I know I am a woman revealing her age-how amazing huh?)

My anniversary to the dearest man of my life, the man who was meant for me was yesterday. Yes, we did get married on September 11th, four years ago. I love my husband just as much (and probably more now) than when we got married.

My girl’s birthday is September 29th. One of the most wonderful days of my life—the day I became a mom. So fast how the time goes by! She continues to teach me patience, wonderment, and is the biggest love of my life.

So let’s get started for this week with Free For All Friday:

I found Free Cyclewhere their mission statement is (based on their website) Our mission is to build a worldwide gifting movement that reduces waste, saves precious resources & eases the burden on our landfills while enabling our members to benefit from the strength of a larger community. This isn’t a blog however, I just loved the concept that I wanted to share it with you.
The Freecycle Network™ is made up of 4,592 groups with 5,767,268 members across the globe. It’s a grassroots and entirely nonprofit movement of people who are giving (and getting) stuff for free in their own towns and thus keeping good stuff out of landfills.
You can click on the groups to find groups in your local area. How cool is that?

Next, I would like to share you about something I found out about this week from Beverly Mahone, founder of Boomer Diva Nation. She tweeted (sent a twitter post) about the Sierra Club and as a fan and follower of Beverly, I checked out the link. The Sierra Club is the oldest and biggest grassroots community inspired by nature. And I found out there is a Sierra Club Magazine

And then I found another great blog by putting together a virtual blog tour (be sure to check out the schedule coming on here next week). The blog is Kristen Harrell. She is a soul psychologist and has her blog called, Think Positive. This blog is just what is says, Thinking Positive and filled with daily affirmations.
Love that! One of the posts I really enjoyed was Synchronicity. Do you have incidents happen that just seem “to happen” but don’t really make sense to you? However, when you think about it, there is some type of “connection” with something you have been thinking about recently—that is what synchronicity is all about.

Another one I found was Phil Gerbyshak with Make it Great blog. Right off the bat, I noticed the 5 ways to make a positive attitude post. Nice solid advice! I especially like the one about counting your blessings. When things aren’t going so wonderful for me OR just when things are going the way I WANT them to, I remind myself of ALL the very many blessings that I have in my life. It does make a difference with my mindset.

I hope you enjoyed this Free For All Friday, and if you have a few blogs you would like a part of the Free for All Friday, please let me know.
