Half of 2008 is over–do you have your goals in place?

I was “reminded” by reading my Google reader and receiving a post from Glenda Watson Hyatt about her goals so far for 2008.

And I thought I would go through a couple of goals posts I have written (in January January 2008, this continues to be listed in my stats - one of my most popular posts May 2008 and my latest “Summertime” June 2008 face accountability to these goals I created for myself.

Here are my Summertime goals
1) Complete my Speaker Forms Kit well, the bummer of this is I haven’t started this yet. I have the idea for this however, I am thinking there is other products I would like to create first. For example, I have already created a new “All About Customers Spreadsheet”
2) Double my newsletter subscriber list well, I have changed my newsletter program so I am starting a new however, my list is growing steadily still.
3) Conduct a teleseminar on the A B C’s of Online Promotion this will be happening in August
4) Attend 2 local networking group meetings still in the process of doing this however, I have joined a few new local meetup groups

I would like to say I am very happy about the direction of my business and the wonderful connections formulated in 2008. I look forward to many more in the upcoming months.

And I would like to add a few more goals for myself:
1) Finish the Speakers Forms Kit by October 2008
2) Continue to have my newsletter subscribers increase

Remember: Goals done get completed if you don’t take ACTION. Create a step by step action plan so you can complete your goals. If there are steps you need assistance with, be sure to put in place the steps to get the help you need in order to complete the goal.

Another thing I enjoyed what Glenda did on her 2008 So Far postwas her bucket list. (For those of you who haven’t seen “The Bucket List” with Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson, I highly recommend you watch this movie.

Here is a few items on my Bucket List
1) Laugh more (I am a bit too serious sometimes)
2) Listen to the universe lessons
3) Keep in touch with my out of state family and friends
4) Continuously learn
5) Share and spread joy to others

So now 2008 is half over—what are your goals for the rest of the year? Please feel free to share them with me and we can support each other.

P.S. Be sure you PRAISE yourself for those things you have completed.
