Teresa,

What a great story! Knowing me, I would be shy or intimidated to do such a thing and here a child has the courage to promote her dad's business! I love it.

It's a great lesson - be more like a child - don't worry about what people will think or any of those other insecurities that adults have and just go for it!

Thanks for sharing!

Cindy,

Thank you for your comment! Yes, kids are truly remarkable in what they come up with and they can teach adults things we forget or don't think about. My daughter sometimes will say to me, "Mom...sometimes grown ups just need to listen to kids!" and she is right. when we allow them to feed their intelligence, and we allow them to branch out and feed their thoughts...we will get amazing results AND probably learn something in the process!

Beverly,
My daughter constantly is amazing my husband and I with her wit and her logical thinking at her age. And she just loves to learn about everything...in fact she just completed management training where she learned how to compose a business plan and develop a mission statement. I am SO proud of her because there were only a set number of kids to be selected for the program, however, I think it should have been offered by all the students. Great values of responsibility and leadership to learn when they grow up.

Isn't it wonderful how our children are so aware of what's going on around them? Children prove to us how we can realize our potential without fear. They put 2 +2 together and come up with results. Great story!

Teresa,

Out of the mouth of babes comes the words of intelligence and determination. I can just picture your daughter doing that. Your points on bringing children to the business table are wonderful. I've been telling my daughter she needs to get a marketing degree so she can help her mom with the PR. That's a GUARANTEED JOB---

Great post!
